Kirklees Culture and Leisure Services Projects Manager (Creative Communities) Loca, Redbrick Mill, Batley *25,437 to *26,928 pa 37 hours per week Ref: CLS 826 Loca, Culture & Leisure Services arts and regeneration agency, has an excellent track record in developing partnership projects with a wide range of Council services, development agencies and community organisations in Kirklees. Loca specialises in using arts and creative projects as tools for community consultation and engagement, and has a reputation for innovative work in regeneration, neighbourhood renewal and social inclusion contexts. We need a highly skilled project manager to join our small team. You will bring extensive, practical experience of setting up and managing community-based arts initiatives in contexts similar to Locas, enabling you to develop effective partnerships and design imaginative, creative projects which help bring about change in local communities. You will have superb organisational, problem-solving and project management skills, coupled with experience of developing project proposals, managing artists and budgets, and supervising the practicalities of projects.
