Thank you, Steve. When I load a zstat1.nii image into Matlab I get a 128x256x256 matrix (img). I assume the indices correspond to the x, y and z coordinates. However, when I look at the the value of, let's say img(35,134,135) I get a slightly different value in Matlab (value=6.2477) than when looking up the same x,y,z voxel coordinates with FSLview (value=6.49102). Does anyone why that's the case? Thaks, Sandy Steve Smith <[log in to unmask]> wrote: Indeed - you could do this by hand in FSLView, or yes matlab is a good option, you can use the save_avw etc function in $FSLDIR/etc/ matlab to save to file.
