Subject: Potential for Durant issues to be heard by House of Lords

Our Out-law web-site has just posted a story "NHS asks Lords to clarify
freedom of information and data protection clash" which deals with a
Scottish Court ruling on the nature of personal data in the context of a
FOI request. This means that if the case goes to the House of Lords, the
Lords will consider the definition of personal data (which is one of the
central themes of Durant)(http://www.out-law.com/page-7740)

Note: we will be discussing this case in our Update sessions in London,
Glasgow and Manchester (in March). If people are interested, details by
e-mail from me or from(http://www.pinsentmasons.com/media/31877390.pdf)
