I need to decide between buying an AKTA prime and an AKTA FPLC from GE health care. I understand AKTA prime is a low-pressure system, but because it is too much cheaper than AKTA FPLC, it is still very attractive to me.

I will mainly use it for Nickel columns and gel filtration columns, and I am worried about the latter. Is it true that using AKTA prime, you can only run the 24 ml Superdex 200 column at 0.1 or 0.2 ml/min?

Could anyone who has used AKTA prime give me some feedbacks? I would appreciate it.
