There have been some recent posts to this list saying some nice things, so this is a good chance to remind everyone of the many contributors to this project so far. Andrew Thomas has been slaving away since 1989, Nicky Best since 1993, and Dave Lunn since 1996. Wally Gilks helped start it all off, Richard Arnold worked on GeoBUGS, Clare Marshall, Ken Rice, David Ohlssen, and Hayley Jones have run the BUGS list. There's also Bob O'Hara on OpenBUGS, Andrew Gelman with bugs(), R2WinBUGS people (Sibylle Sturtz, Uwe Ligges, Gregor Gorjanc, Jouni Kerman), many people who have spent time contributing helpful suggestions to this list, while others have generously made their code available. And I've probably forgotten a few important people - sorry.
