MRI Research Associate at University of Colorado at Denver

The Department of Radiology at the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center, section of Radiological Physics, has an opening for a full-time MRI research associate.

Job Responsibilities: Working at both the Fitzsimons and 9th/Colorado campuses, the key responsibility will be investigation of new methodological approaches, and algorithm and software development for fMRI. Potential research activities involve ICA, clustering, multivariate analysis, or other novel approaches to obtain activation patterns in the brain.

The successful candidate will have experience and interests in applied mathematics, statistics, MR physics, programming (C and Matlab), and signal and image processing. The center is equipped with a research-dedicated GE 3T MR system with parallel imaging capability, state-of-the-art fMRI devices, and advanced computing facilities.

Required Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: A Ph.D. degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, biomedical or electrical engineering, or related field; knowledge and experience in statistics and digital signal processing; proficiency in Matlab and C programming.

Preferred Qualifications include: Excellent mathematical skills.
