The Neuroimaging Laboratory at the Santa Lucia Foundation, Rome, Italy (Honorary Director Prof RSJ Frackowiak) offers two postdoctoral positions to work on fMRI projects on spatial attention and crossmodal links between the different senses under the supervision of Dr Emiliano Macaluso.

The Neuroimaging Laboratory is equipped with a 3 Tesla MR scanner that is fully dedicated to research, plus a 1.5 T scanner that is used also for clinical purposes. In addition, within the Lab we have a wide-ranging expertise of advanced neuroimaging methods, including combined EEG-fMRI acquisition and analyses of structural and functional connectivity.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in neuroscience (or a related field), expertise in the acquisition and analysis of fMRI data and good programming skills. The candidates are expected to work within the general framework of the project, but also to actively contribute with their own ideas and proposals.

The starting date will be agreed with the candidates. The initial appointment is for two years, with a possibility of extension for a third year. Salary will be commensurate with experience (18.000-22.000 Euro p.a. NET).
