but i did not read it here it is - unread - turning my head aside The Goodluck Club “The Goodluck Club is a fellowship of men whose primary purpose is to re establish the family as the core unit within our society. We want lifelong heterosexual love to be supported with positive discrimination and affirmative action by all our governments. The purpose of marriage is to grow children - even above wealth. from: The Mission Statement Business Plan The Goodluck Club Pty Ltd. As a fifty seven year old Australian man who has attempted marriage twice, had one child and lost three handbuilt houses (by my own hand) to two wives and one de facto – I cannot recommend marriage to the next generation of young Australian men. My advice to the next generation of Australian men is to get a vasectomy as soon as possible and join the Goodluck Club. Although Justice Lionel Murphy may have had the penetrating mind and humility to have a vision of where The Family Law Act could take the Australian family, he failed in his lack of anticipating the intellectual vanity of a man like Justice Alistair Nicholson. Nicholson interpreted the Family Law Act as a feminist and became the real architect of the emancipation of women by creating a domestic matriarchy and massive access to the wealth needed to bankroll it. That there has been a significant shift in wealth between the genders during the past thirty years is indisputable. That it is women who initiate divorce in the overwhelming majority of cases (over 90 %) is also indisputable. The fact is, that there has been a massive breakdown in marriage since the Family law Act came into being, more even than two world wars could produce. This breakdown is being driven by women. Though this is the truth - it is almost never heard and it is just about impossible to say it – anywhere. Women are dissatisfied and unhappy with marriage in Australia, even after thirty years of what appears to be significant and genuine efforts by Australian men to make it work. Feminism has maintained its influence over Australian women and many Australian men. It remains the driving narrative behind the domestic matriarchy. The nurture and education of children have remained almost exclusively feminine areas of influence even after all the posturing about equal opportunity. “….We offer men guaranteed freedom from unwanted pregnancy and abortion. We guarantee fatherhood for life to all members.” The nuclear family is fast disappearing into child care centres, old people’s homes and access weekends. One in two Australian men cannot maintain a marriage for more than seven years. When the marriage fails, they lose any real chance to father their children, their home, their house, and a significant portion of any control over their finances. Somehow, through the sexual revolution and feminist demands for absolute sexual independence, we have arrived at a point in history where marriage can no longer demand even fidelity. A couple of weeks ago, the High Court of Australia refused to compensate a man who had brought up two children sired by his wife’s lover. Judge Michael Kirby commented that fidelity was a private matter for the individual. The highest court in the land has indicated that fidelity is no longer required in a marriage. If this is so, then marriage for men has no advantage over a de facto relationship, and it is fair to say that without fidelity there is no contract, and therefore no marriage. It would appear then, that marriage is dead. “….The Goodluck Club offers a fully reversible vasectomy to all men applying for membership. Members are required to deposit four full files of their sperm in our state of the art sperm bank facilities before their procedure. Members will have full access to medical and legal specialists as part of their membership”. Family is not just the basic unit of democracies but also it is the basic unit of just about all the brands of communism, socialism, tribal indigeneous communities dictatorships, military juntas and tyrannies. It is the basic unit of all civilization throughout the world. Without the family we are faced with the absolute and complete power of the individual and the mob. Somehow, feminism has become anti family. It sees the family as an oppression to women. It views women who stay at home to mother their children as traitors and it views fatherhood as an enemy. The feminist will always advise women to escape from a marriage, because she is consumed in a language of liberation, and a landscape that fears men and can only conceive of her freedom and health in an absolute individualism. Each year we see the statistic that four out of five Australian women have experienced domestic violence at some time in their lives. This statistic includes in its results any man who ‘has refused to give money to a woman’. The continued inclusion of such a question in a professional national survey costing millions of dollars of taxpayers money is profound. It is absolutely counter productive and reduces the survey purporting to document the very serious problem of domestic violence to an expression of the hatred of maleness (misandry). Any professional organization would recognize the damage such indulgence would do, yet this statistic comes out from the Office of Women’s Affairs, year after year with an expensive television advertising campaign adding more ‘grist for the mill’ amongst the rest of the dumb, stupid, anti male private advertisements that flood out of our TV screens. “….The Club wishes to promote a domestic patriarchy. It is clear now that the domestic matriarchy established as a result of the 1974 Family Law Act has failed. The family in Australia is in crisis and as the basic unit within our democracy should be considered as an issue on a scale with global warming and nuclear waste”. Feminism has a tribal imperative in its singular focus. It claims to represent all women, and maintains a monopoly on Government and State positions of power with regard to women’s affairs. It also maintains enormous influence in the media and in the literature of Australia. There is no doubt that women’s affairs in Australia, is being driven by the feminist meta narrative. Feminism has no concern or responsibility to the larger tribe, the general population or the nation as a whole. Tribalism in general has gained credibility within left wing thinking as a strategy to empower the individual within nation states which have massively increased their populations during the twentieth century. We see local communities demanding roundabouts and speed humps in their suburbs to deter motorists using back roads to avoid tolled freeways. Small ethnic and cultural groups within the population have been able to bargain with state and federal governments for special consideration. Aboriginal tribal justice, over and above the law that the rest of the population is subject to, has proved an embarrassing failure in the vast majority of cases. Laws such as the Anti Vilification Law introduced by the Victorian Government under the Attorney General Rob Hulls have created confusing, ideologically driven moralities which have only served to further divide the state in favour of tribalism. “…The Goodluck Club will lobby Governments of all persuations in Australia to develop a form of financial reward for families that stay together. A payment in the order of say $10,000 per year could be payed to families who stay together for seven years, rising to $15,000 after 10 years and then $20,000 after 15 years .Families with more than two children could also be financially rewarded, even if this level of funding requires a significant reduction in other areas of Government commitment.” The twenty first century is marked by a new quality of loneliness. Loneliness from any real knowledge or access to the technology that surrounds our domestic and working lives. Loneliness from our children either through divorce or child care centres. Lonely children abandoned by both their parents to work and the orders of the Family Law Court. Loneliness from our beloved, who always fall short of the monstrous images of sex and wealth portrayed by the American driven media narratives. Loneliness from our own authenticity and integrity due to ideological, psychological and sociological invasions of our spirit by so called educational forces. Loneliness from God due to the denial of scientific and progressive thought to consider any development of a concept that includes spiritual intelligence. Finally, the desperate loneliness of the old people’s home. “….This is the perfect gift for any father or grandfather to give their kids. A membership of The Goodluck Club for their eighteenth birthday, before they’ve had too much of a chance to spread their ‘wild seed’. You can make sure your kids and grandkids have a father around for life, and you can be sure you get to be a grandparent yourself”. There is a core group of first wave radical feminist lesbian women who have an over represented voice when it comes to issues concerning children. Alister Nicholoson openly campaigned for the right of lesbians to state funded IVF programs whilst he was the Chief Justice of the Family Law Court of Australia. Children are a heterosexual matter. If you like, the heterosexual tribe view children as sacred business. The homosexual relationship as one which exists between two adult men or women cannot produce children. Children are always the product of a heterosexual union. This may seem obvious, however it is necessary to emphasize because the gay lobby will contend that they should have the same rights to children as heterosexual couples. The truth is that they don’t, because they cannot produce children – terra nullius. Left thinking inspired notions of social engineering, have misled homosexual groups into a false belief that they have a right to have children by any means they can devise. Homosexual Australians should have no say with regard to the heterosexual matters concerning marriage, children or abortion – it is none of their business. Inequality, positive discrimination and affirmative action, in the name of equal opportunity, equity and equality, have been in full operation throughout state and federal government systems for the past thirty years. We have seen this year two disastrous appointments by the Queensland government in the positions of Director of Public Prosecutions and Chief Magistrate. The Labour Party in particular has been consumed by pressure from feminists and organizations such as ‘Emily’s List’ run by Joan Kirner, to fast track women into winnable seats denying the usual processes to qualified experienced men. Mary Delahunty was one of these appointments which again proved to be disastrous in portfolio after portfolio. A newsreader a politician does not necessarily make. Great journalist, wonderful unforgettable interviews with Jeff Kennett, but no good at politics or administration – not education, nor town planning, not even the arts – quite understandable really. Political correctness came directly from feminism. It was initially called ‘Consensus Decision Making’ back in the early seventies. We can gain a very good idea of the levels of feminization our culture has absorbed by looking at the levels of PC. When accused of PC, many lefties will deny its existence except as a right wing term of abuse, yet almost every citizen is confronted with institutionalized PC assumptions almost every day of their lives. It is alarmingly pervasive and often invisible and silent. The educational curriculums are shot through with PC as has been described by Kevin Donnally in his articles in The Australian and in Quadrant. Our birth rate and even the timing of the birth of our children are now driven by careers, levels of wealth, and equal opportunity policies rather than love. Our arts industries and government funding bodies are driven by PC guidelines rather than excellence. “….The Goodluck Club encourages members and their lovers to study and sign our contract which guarantees our member full custody of his children for life before they marry”. The notion that there is ‘women’s business’ and ‘men’s business’ is one that I find some sympathy for. It is what the philosopher Alfred North Whitehead referred to as ‘first hand information’ – the information we collect by being or doing something. All other information, from history to the internet, he called ‘second hand information’. Second hand information is the information we gain from books, science and the internet. It is the information we use to try to change the world. We create civilization by trying to think about ourselves within history. Feminism evolved as a body of second hand information collected by women thinking about themselves and their role within society after centuries of first hand information. Anybody can gain second hand information and be on a more or less equal footing, but only the players can gain the authenticity and integrity that first hand information provides. That men have no control over women’s bodies is self evident. However, that men will continue to seek influence in any decision to abort or not abort their children, is also irrefutable. There is a huge energy of first hand information behind both these imperatives. Men cannot allow women to have absolute control over the life or death of their children within a civilized society. The burden of such a decision is morally unsustainable by the individual. No person can morally be asked by life to make such a decision. Yet they are. In Australia, about one hundred thousand women make that decision every year. So, perhaps ten times that many, a million women are required to consider abortion each year. That’s a lot of women in difficult circumstances with an impossible decision to make each year. Twice that, two million citizens will be massively effected by the decision, many, for the rest of their lives. “….However if members decide to divorce they will both receive continuing counseling with regard to parenting children. The Club, for example, wishes to facilitate at least one full time parent with children for the first five years of their lives. The Club would advise members to exercise their core fathering role in the second part of their children’s lives rather than the first. ….Young children need mothers more than fathers and older children need fathers more than mothers.” Men as well as women need to talk about feminism. It has become almost impossible for men to discuss or debate feminist issues anywhere in Australia. Not in literature, nor the media, not in private, in the workplace, the home, nor at social functions. It is a huge elephant in the room of Australia and the air is brittle with the electricity of the silence between the genders. We have to be impossibly careful to avoid constant argument. The essence of the genders does not agree about much at all. Men still want to go to the moon, and women want to look after the planet. It has now become crystal clear that Australian women want free childcare. All the studies indicate that children who spend significant amounts of time in child care centres perform worse later in life. The feminist intellectual, Anne Manne was denounced by feminism for daring to speak against childcare. Children from child care centres are significantly over represented in drug and alcohol programs and in mental health areas. All the second hand information that has been gathered indicates that children need at least one full time parent for the first five years of their lives. Yet Australian feminism, both the left and the right, is the major driving force behind the push for more and free child care. There are many families with two parents working, who drop their children into child care at 7 a.m. in the morning and pick them up at 6 p.m. at night, four and five days every week. An even higher proportion of these marriages fail, probably through exhaustion. At least half these marriages last less than seven years. It is remarkable that one has to finally arrive at the conclusion that feminism is anti family. The voices of Bettina Arnt and Camille Paglia have grown feint with absence, and the women’s movement is now locked down in defending the level of abortion in Australia, promoting free child care for women, encouraging mothers back into the workforce, and attacking men through outrageous definitions of domestic violence. Feminism has given Australian women a belief in unequal opportunity. That they have rights to positive discrimination and affirmative action. Australian women expect to be treated better than Australian men, and they are. They expect to live longer, and they do, They see this not only as a right, but as retribution. Australian men deserve a better deal with regard to children, the family and life in general. They definitely deserve a fair go. “….The Goodluck Club wishes to grow the Australian family into a powerful, profound and beautiful lifelong experience that every Australian citizen can be transformed by.” The Goodluck Club seeks expressions of interest.
