Theatre is difficult to track. There are individual playscripts published by Currency Press, but most of the overviews - two big ones by Len Radic, for instance - are pretty ordinary (my review of one of them here -http://theatrenotes.blogspot.com/2006/09/contemporary-australian-drama.html ) You could try Terminus and Other Plays by Daniel Keene (available from Salt) to check out our Most Successful Export - Keene is the most produced contemporary playwright in France. But not, ahem, in his own land. Very much worth a read, even if I say so. Currency House in Sydney is publishing some valuable stuff, but you'd be hard put to find one good authoritative book that covers what really happens. John Leonard's Contemporary Australian Poetry is another good overview, in that is it is (some would say overly) inclusive. The Penguin Book of Women Poets (ed Susan Hampton and Kate Llewellyn, Penguin) is an eye-opener and, I'm pretty sure, also out of print. You could probably track it down on Abebooks.
