Successful candidate will teach a range of undergraduate courses, including news media and cultural studies. Specific assignments include teaching radio broadcasting, advising broadcast students, managing the student radio station and supervising internships. Candidates should have a demonstrated teaching effectiveness, knowledge of radio station management and new media technologies and production processes, and the ability to work in integrated media projects. The preferred candidate will also have experience in obtainingexternal financial support for instructional technology and the ability to help coordinate and strengthen all communications programs. Doctorate in communications or journalism preferred; equivalent professional experience considered.
