		"Recognising Motivational Triggers"
		Ged is a Chartered Psychologist and Director of The Independent Psychological Service. 
		He is Consultant Psychologist to the Northern Ireland Office, Cranfield University, eight Further Education colleges, the LSC and the Department for Education and Skills, and he carries out training in motivational techniques. Ged is the author of four books on the psychological principles of learning and training. 
		
		11.15 - 12.30 Jude Carroll 
		"Making things real: how to use ideas about managing others' difficult behaviour in everyday situations" 
		Jude has had many roles at Brookes University, and now manages a project developing student learning communities.  
		This promises to be a lively interactive session with ideas and skills to take back to the workplace.

		"Minimising the barriers, maximising their styles - The Learning Grid's service delivery model"
		
		 As Information Assistant at the Learning Grid, University of Warwick, Dean's role covers day to day operational duties, first contact for 15 staff, Equipment maintenance, space management, collaborative working practices, web design and marketing for the Grid.

		2. 30 - 4.00  Matthew Lawson 
		"Challenging behaviour" 
		Matthew is Site Library Manager, Guys and St Thomas's, Kings College London, having previously worked in academic and public libraries. He has devised, launched and promoted conduct guidelines for library users for all the campuses which have been embedded in the library regulations. 
		This session will include group work resulting in more ideas and skills to try out in your library/LRC setting.
