Apologies for cross posting.

UC&R East Midlands invite you to a meeting on Tuesday 13th February at De
Montfort University, Leicester.

Do students still ‘read for a degree’? Research is showing that students
are spending less of their time reading now. Does this matter in a
digital world and should it be our business to encourage the old notion of
reading for a degree? This one-day meeting will use case studies from
three universities to explore how the library can work with students,
academics and others to embed reading into the teaching and learning
experience.

Programme and booking details follow.

Hope to see you there.

Chris Powis
