Hi I to am in the process of writing up my evaluative statement and am finding it difficult to meet the criteria of assessment (which I have used to inform section headings: Personal Experience: Service provision/Performance: Continuing Professional Development: Professional knowledge) and do what is required in 3.4.1 all in 1000 words. I was hoping to use the PPDP as a way of adding 'extra words' without them counting towards the 1000 (while still critiquing my development) by adding an evaluative section at the end. Any thoughts on this? I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on the layout of the statement. I was hoping to write an introduction about myself and the service before I started the evaluative statement. Does anyone know if this would go towards the 1000 word count? Also if I added references as footnotes, would they also have to go towards the word count? Many thanks in advance.
