Hi All Any bright undergraduates out there looking for PhD funding? The deadline for Glasgow University Scholarships (fees plus stipend) and Overseas Research Scholarships (to pay the difference between non-EU and home fees) will be Tues 31 January 07 for session 07/08. The application forms and details of University Scholarships are available on the Physical Science Faculty web-site (http://www.physci.gla.ac.uk/scholar.html). Both of these scholarships are highly compitative, and will be in a pool of candidates with Physisicsts and Chemists. Also note that Carnegie scholarships have a likely deadline of end March but student must have or expect a First class degree from a Scottish university. If anyone wants to discuss potential projects, please get in touch. The list that is on our department website is not complete.
