Outline of the course:
Day one: Introduction/Flow and deformation/Intracrystalline deformation
Day two: Foliations and Shear Zones
Day three: Veins and Fringes
Day four: Porphyroblasts/Special techniques
The course will consist of lectures and extensive practical work on
thin-sections from the Mainz collection.
