Advance call for participation! Session convenors: Kye Askins Charles Travis OPEN MIC DISCUSSION THIS IS NOT a call for papers. This session is participatory in nature: the aim is to enable anyone who wishes to express thoughts/feelings on the main conference theme to do so in an open debate. Using an 'open mic' approach offering a maximum of 5 minutes to each speaker, the intention is to explore geographies of sustainability and quality of life without setting any prior agenda. We also intend to provide space via a 'graffiti wall' and graffiti tables for participants to add comments throughout and after the session (in anticipation that people may have other commitments in other sessions at the same time but may wish to add to the debate), to be collated and fed back ... ... potentially also thinking about setting up a 'wiki-style' website for these collated comments so that people can add/clarify/continue debate on these issues - if that's what folk want ...
