Yes, I think you'll typically Fab structures in the pdb are numbered in Kabat format, with insertions labeled A,B,C, etc....

 

There is a server that can help you number your sequence.  http://www.bioinf.org.uk/abs/seqtest.html

 

Also have a look at  http://www.bioinf.org.uk/abs/  to help you with numbering.
