The Devon Record Office and the National Meteorological Archive, which share premises in Exeter, will both be closed for stocktaking, other essential collection management work and staff training between Monday 5th February and Friday 16th February 2007 inclusive.

The Devon Record Office's Service Point in Exeter Central Library where microforms of parish registers and estate duty wills, 1812-1858, can be consulted will remain open during this period.

Both offices will re-open at 10 a.m. on Monday 19th February.
The North Devon Record Office, Barnstaple, will be closed for the consultation of original records between February 5th and 16th 2007 inclusive, but microform sources will be available. The office will re-open fully at 9.30 a.m. on Monday 19th February. We would be grateful if this information could be brought to the attention of anyone who wishes to visit any of the offices during this period.
