The Royal Statistical Society's annual international conference will take place between 16 and 20 July 2007 at the University of York.

The focus of the conference will be 'Statistics and Public Policy-Making'.

Abstract submissions are encouraged for contributed papers and posters on the following topics and on any other matter related to the theme of the conference:

Healthcare & medicine
Education
Epidemics
Crime
Migration
Randomised control trials
Quality of life indicators
Methods of evaluation for policy decisions
Social inequalities
Statistics policy
Areas of public concern
Statistical black holes

Submissions should be made using the relevant form which can be downloaded from the conference web site www.rss.org.uk/rss2007.

The closing date for submissions is Monday 12 February.
