Roger, I'm fairly certain that it's his personal experience with whatever acrylic paint he uses telling him he better finish moving that paint around in 90 minutes or else. Temperature enters in as a factor: he does most of his work during the summer. Perhaps I'll ask him to let me watch his working process; I've been relying on the finished product plus my memory of his answers to my informal queries. Barry
