The organisation of the 9th International Conference on Synchrotron
Radiation (BSR) in Manchester (12-17 Aug.2007) is progressing well.
This message is to seek your support in encouraging your team members,
departmental and institutional colleagues to make use of the early
registration offer (a saving of 30%) which expires on 20 December 2006.
Please note that there is a further substantial savings on group
registration.
Our finances remain tight. For speakers, we would do the registrations
later on as we have committed to cover the registration fee for speakers
(some of you have kindly offered to pay registration - so a big thank you).
For the committee members, we would very much like to cover the
registration but at this stage we can not commit funds. We would therefore
encourage the committee members, who are not speakers, to register at the
current reduced rate. We are working hard to increase our sponsorship and
hope that this together with other efforts would allow us to reimburse your
registration fee. So please REGISTER before 20 December 2006.
