medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture Gwenael was a wonderful colleague, we know all the quality of his works; I've had the chance to meet him, wwe worked in the same university. Since the last 20 years Gwenael has been investigating Breton medieval hagio-historiography : he was one of the pioneers who founded the CIRDoMoC [Centre international de recherche et de documentation sur le monachisme celtique (http://cirdomoc.free.fr/Cirdomoc.htm)] . He was also a specialist of Breton popular literature, especially old mysteries plays in Breton language. Gwenael was only 55 years old and left 2 young daughters.
