Sorry, I should have noted this monk was a later Parisian namesake for Fiacre of Meaux. This infant encounter was in 1637, but I was thinking the common name might have connected their emblems in the art. The story itself was from Antonia Fraser's Love and Louis XIV. Mea culpa.
