Bydd y gwaith ymgynghori yn golygu ymgysylltu a chynnal trafodaethau â'r holl rhanddeiliaid, datblygu a chyflwyno trydydd fframwaith y Safonau a mesurau eraill, sefydlu gweithdrefnau addas ar gyfer gweithredu'r fframwaith yn llwyddiannus, a chyflwyno tri seminar/gweithdy i Benaethiaid gwasanaethau llyfrgelloedd cyhoeddus yng Nghymru. Cyllideb y gwaith ymgynghori yw hyd at £15,000 (yn cynnwys TAW), yn ogystal â hyd at £2,000 ar gyfer costau teithio a chynhaliaeth. Dylai fod gan ymgeiswyr brofiad o weithio yn y sector llyfrgelloedd cyhoeddus, gwybodaeth am Safonau Llyfrgelloedd Cyhoeddus Cymru, a dealltwriaeth o gyd-destun trefniadau rheoli SLlCC mewn awdurdodau lleol. It is expected that the third framework of WPLS, which will run from 1 April 2008 in all library authorities in Wales, will develop the current framework of Standards and also introduce a range of new measures. The consultancy will involve engagement and discussion with all relevant stakeholders, the development and delivery of the third framework of Standards and other measures, the establishment of appropriate procedures for the implementation of the framework, and the presentation of three seminars/workshops to Heads of public library services in Wales. The budget for the consultancy is up to £15,000 (including VAT), plus up to £2,000 to cover travel and subsistence costs. Applicants should have experience of working with the public library sector, a knowledge of the Welsh Public Library Standards, and an understanding of the context in which WPLS are managed within local authorities.
