The Forced Migration and Refugee Studies (FMRS) program at the American University in Cairo is pleased to announce the FMRS Grey Files Collection. They collection is now fully catalogued and may be searched by author, title, or keyword from the AUC main library homepage: http://library.aucegypt.edu . The grey files are catalogued according to the British Refugee Council Classification Scheme and contain extensive information on refugees and refugee assistance in Egypt and other materials, including special collections such as the records of the Joint Refugee Services Kenya project from the 1970's, materials on the assessment of refugee camp management in Tanzania, Volumes I-V of the SPLM/SPLA newsletter from 1992-1996, and documentation and original source material from the protest of Sudanese refugees in Cairo in fall and winter 2005.
