The post could also be shared by two people. The main responsibilities of the Book Reviews Editor are to select books for review, send them to reviewers and encourage them to submit their review in a timely manner, edit and proof read reviews, and occasionally write to publishers requesting books. The major publishers in the field regularly send books for review to the Book Reviews Editor. The Book Reviews Editor is also required to attend twice-yearly meetings of the journal's Editorial Board, which are held in London. A small honorarium is payable.
