medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Can we add to those questions, where is he publishing his findings?

medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture Dear Jon,

Personally, I think it would be great for you to contact Michael Liversidge.

If you do, and if you have the time, could you ask Michael:

a) what he knows of the identity of the persons on the other known panels; and
b) whether there are images on the Web of these panels.

Hmmm ... makes me think of:
c) are there any images on the web of 'his' panels that are more clear than the ones whose links I sent to the list last week?

Thanks for this!

Best wishes, George

I hope no one on-list objects to my forwarding this discussion to Michael Liversidge himself, who was unaware of it and is very interested in hearing more.

This whole discussion on Fra Angelico's mystery saints reminds me of nothing so much as the sardonic aside of a New Testament scholar I once heard: "It is the presence of so many unknowns that keeps us scholars in business"!!
