APOLOGIES FOR CROSS POSTING The PuLLS project (Public Libraries in the Learning Society) is coming to an end, and the end of project conference will take place on 24th November 2006 at The Hague. The project has brought together libraries from the UK, Finland, Denmark, Germany and Spain to develop and test a model for supporting lifelong learning and developing information competencies amongst EU citizens. The one-day conference will report on practical findings from the project, and also brings together speakers from across Europe to address issues of (innovation in) adult learning, staff competencies and developing partnerships. Registration is free, but numbers are limited - there are still some places left. For further details, and to register, go to: http://www.pulls.dk alternatively, contact Juliet Eve ([log in to unmask]) for a hard copy brochure.
