italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies
The American University of Rome seeks a Director of Assessment and Institutional Research who will oversee the continuing development of the university's institutional assessment plan and will carry out the university's institutional research functions in support of assessment, accreditation and a range of internal and external activities. 
In this role the Director will report to the Provost and work closely with key administrators and faculty. 

The successful candidate will have a master's degree (doctorate preferred, with faculty rank a possibility) working knowledge of statistical methods and analysis, experience with higher education accreditation processes, good technical, English writing and communication skills and will demonstrate the ability to work successfully as part of a team in a small, but rapidly growing organization.
