Rowdy

Good to see a little non serious banter going on between you and Mr T . My sources tell me the name tomlinson derives from the 18 th century when a Tomlin was a man hired to brick up windows when the government taxed daylight through a levy on windows (window tax). How history reinvents itself . Perhaps the new Tomlin could invent a method of encapsulating cow wind to diminish CO2 emisions and also put the noxious gas to good use such as a hot air balloon ride at the next EFTC conference as a treat for some of the community elders - Eric, Martin, David, Tony and of course you and I while giving our accounts of what happened in the 70's.

Just a thought

OK - it's the weekend so nothing serious but this is a weird one:

Just been looking through the parish newsletter of our local kirk (church).  I noticed that under recent baptisms there was a Rowdy David Tomlinson son of Derek and Brenda Tomlinson!

No what are the odds on that in a small village in Highland Scotland?

Comments appreciated (especially from David Tomlinson lately of this list).
