Dear friends,

This afternoon discussing with a colleague about linkages in extensional and compressional systems, we have had the controversy and doubt about if it is correct to call "relay ramp" to those areas of soft link between thrust.

Can this terminology be applied to thrust, as equivalent to the terminology used in extensional systems? And something else; Can a lateral ramp being considered hard linkage in all the cases?
