Thank you so much Matthew, for your clear and highly apropos comments. There is a group of us who is interested in the heart of the matter as outlined by Nick, as well as the more general problem of introducing education for wisdom at all ages. From the response to such things a Anne Adam's doctoral dissertation on existing K-12 programs that educate for wisdom (1374 Wisdom Page downloads in the month of September alone) it seems that there is a thirst out there for what we have been proposing. My only addition to Matthew's suggestions would be to get together those friends of wisdom who would like to move from talk to action. Perhaps have a conference, with its logistical and $$$ problems for some of us. Or, use one or more Internet technologies (Our own chatroom, perhaps? Text? Voice?) to do some creative brainstorming. For those who have not yet visited it, you might be interested in checking out the section of The Wisdom Page (http://www.cop.com/wisdompg.html) headed WISDOM, THE ACADEMIC ENTERPRISE, AND EDUCATION FOR WISDOM. It is repeated below.

All the best, Cop
