Some information about an event in London on the Refugees into Teaching project instigated by the Refugee Council - some of you might remember that we had preliminary information through about this inititative a couple of months ago.

Refugees into Teaching will be holding an information evening at the Refugee Council office in Brixton on the 07 November 2006.  Please see below and attached for details:

This free event is aimed at refugee teachers, schools, teacher trainers and professionals advising refugee communities wishing to find out more information on how to enter the teaching profession in the UK.

 

 

 

The evening will cover the following topics:

·       West London Partnership representative outlining employment based and other routes into teaching

·       Speaker from NARIC UK presenting new research

·       Services available for refugee teachers

·       Question and answer and networking sessions

 

Registration with refreshments begins at 17:00

A hot buffet will be available from 20:00 onwards
