With apologies for cross postings.

ECITE 2006 is over and I thought you might like to see some of the photos that were taken during the conference. We have put these on the website and you will find them at http://www.academic-conferences.org/ecite/ecite2006/ecite06-gallery.htm . You will also find a link to video clips where participants at the conference tell us what they think are the key challenges facing IT evaluation today.

You can download a copy of the abstracts booklet and see the contents of the conference proceedings (available for purchase online) at http://www.academic-conferences.org/ecite/proceedings/2-proceedings-ecite2006.htm

The 2006 conference was the 13th ECITE and information technology has changed a great deal in those years. To reflect this, it has been decided that the scope of the conference should be broadened and therefore, from next year the conference will have a new image.  The conference will now be called the European Conference on Information Management and Evaluation (ECIME), and whilst still having a strong evaluation stream, it is hoped that the change of focus will enable more topics to be covered. Over the next few weeks, the new conference website (http://www.academic-conferences.org/ecite/ecime2007/ecime07-home.htm) will be updated to reflect these changes. The first call for papers will be released at the end of October.

Kind regards
