Now I have arguments with my ten year old. The British Isles, Britain,
Great Britain, United Kingdom, England, London, Wales, Scotland, Northern
Ireland, Eire and no name on the stamps. I must say it's hellishly complicated:
history, politics, nomenclature, nation-state, country, nation ... I get
confused myself. Forgive the children, surely!
