medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture 42nd Annual Medieval Congress at Kalamazoo (10-13 May 2007). For a Magistra roundtable in honor of the scholarship of Valerie Lagorio, I seek 10-minute position papers engaging the problematic status, value, and future of the term "mysticism"--as well as potential substitutes for this classification. Please send queries and abstracts as soon as possible (by 15 September) to me via e-mail. Remember that the Kzoo Rules do allow participants to participate in a roundtable as well as to present a paper. Please also feel free to circulate this cfp at will. Once the roundtable is assembled, I will send around a bibliography on the topic and we can start discussing in advance. Looking forward to hearing from you.
