In Angus we are looking into the possibility of setting up an online
reading group but lack the knowledge and experience. Sustainability is
an issue for us like so many other authorities with low budgets and I
was wondering if anyone would be willing to share their experiences with
us, both good and bad. Any information would be greatly appreciated on
any aspect of setting up and running such a group, for example:

How is the group set up and managed?

Is it a single page attached to the library page or a separate website?

Is there a limit on how many can take part?

How much staff time is involved in setting up and running the group?

Once separate funding ends, is the group sustainable from current
budgets?

I will try and summarise the responses for the list.

Many thanks in advance,
