I have had an enquiry from someone who has heard that it is EU
legislation that a drug which is prescribed in one EU country must also
be made available in other EU countries.

(This is from someone who has been refused a drug on the NHS because it
is not approved by the NICE committee.)

I feel sure that this must be wrong, and will be doing some research on
it tomorrow to try to find a definitive answer, but if anyone knows
anything about this I would be grateful if you could let me know.

thanks
