This post forms part of a wide-ranging regeneration of Human Geography in the University to focus on the social, cultural and environmental branches of the subject taught and researched in an interdisciplinary manner. Candidates should have completed a PhD in a relevant research area, and be committed to high-quality teaching and research. Applications are welcome from promising researchers in any area of environmental geography, but are particularly encouraged from candidates in the field of environmental policy, a major and developing research area in both Schools, and who can provide a strong geographical contribution to this research grouping. Candidates should be able to contribute to a range of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes in both schools, the teaching load being two thirds in Geography and one third in Politics and International Relations.
