The November 2005 white paper covers RM in two paragraphs.

Whilst clearly a vast improvement on earlier incarnations it is still not
going to be TNA etc compliant on its own.

However if you have an MS architecture and have other future or existing
uses for Sharepoint this may be a strong factor for choosing an EDRM which
is based on or links closely to Sharepoint .

It will be interesting to see how those vendors who do use Sharepoint as
part of the EDRM architecture react since the 2007 version will certainly do
considerable elements of what has previously been added value 'for free' -
in quotes as nothing is ever really free.

Subject: Sharepoint 2007

My Authority is just starting to look at the capabilities of Sharepoint 2007
and its use as an EDRM product.

Is anyone looking to use Sharepoint 2007 in this manner and if so what do
they think the limitations of the product are?
