Dear Colleague

The Reading Agency (TRA)  is running several training courses this autumn – and they are filling up fast. Here are the details of courses on offer this year, for those who have not yet seen them:

Would you like help to:

  • build your staff’s awareness of key national public library programmes for readers?
  • help your staff to develop work with priority reading audiences?
  • develop your team’s planning and evaluation skills?
  • introduce fresh ideas and thinking to your work with readers?

TRA's one day courses are designed to help your staff develop the awareness, skills and confidence to deliver key national programmes for public libraries’ work with readers. Staff who attend will gain:

  • knowledge which will help them in their day to day work with readers
  • new ideas for things to try
  • the confidence that comes from discussing ideas and plans with others
  • enthusiasm to come back and develop local activity to contribute to local and national targets.
