Ah ha. It certainly does! I think I get you.

To rephrase in my own words. You want to assign a set of spectra with
their corresponding molecule in (almost) the same way that you have
already assigned a related, but separate, set of spectra to their
corresponding, but similaly separate, molecule.

i.e.

 Assignments 1 link spectra 1 to molecule 1

 and

 Assignments 2 link spectra 2 to molecule 2

 but because you know that both sets of spectra and both molecules are so
 similar the assignments must also be similar.

Copy Peak Assignments does "same molecule to different spectra" and
Copy Chain Assignments does "different molecule to same spectra" thus
neither totally apply here. I'll have a think about what to do...
