I am researching the S46 code of practice for Records Management.

 

Could someone tell me a bit more about it, particularly:

 

§         What it is trying to achieve

§         Who it affects in terms of accountability

§         Implications of not complying with the code

§         What interest it holds for the public sector/taxpayers

§         How (central) government are planning to respond to it? Are they using records management tools/software in order to comply?
