The Department offers a unique environment to those wishing to undertake interdisciplinary study. Applicants should have (or expect to obtain) a first or upper second class degree in an appropriate discipline. An MSc in a relevant subject would also be an advantage. Each award will cover home fees and full stipend for three years. The stipend will be £14,000 pa in year one. Applications should include a CV, an indication of the topic area(s) of interest, a statement of research experience and interests, a clear indication of any financial awards already applied for or existing funding secured, and the names and contact details for two academic referees.
