Health Services Research Unit

We are seeking an enthusiastic researcher to join the Health Services Research Unit. The post holder will collaborate with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and is expected to develop a programme of research into the quality of obstetric and gynaecological care in the UK.

The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists are leading institutions in the field of clinical audit and effectiveness. The Health Services Research Unit plays a key role both nationally and internationally in shaping and guiding large-scale studies of healthcare quality.

Applicants should have a PhD qualification in health services research, epidemiology or a related discipline. It is essential that they have experience of designing, managing and analysing large-scale studies.

The post is offered full-time, initially for 3 years. The salary will be on the Lecturer scale (£31,812 * £39,941) per annum inclusive or Senior Lecturer scale (£41,667 * £46,832), depending on qualifications and experience.
