With appologies for cross-posting Jo Little Following a series of recent high profile appointments in Human Geography, the Department of Geography is seeking to expand further by appointing three permanent lecturers from September 2006 (or as soon as possible thereafter) with interests that relate to any of the following research foci: Historical and Cultural Geography; Society and Nature; Political and Economic Geographies of Governance, Ethics and Social Justice. The posts will be based at the main Streatham Campus in Exeter. The successful applicants will have demonstrated excellence in publications and be able to demonstrate the potential to develop cutting-edge programmes of funded research. The starting salary will be up to circa £28,850 dependent upon qualifications and experience.
