Education and conflict: research, policy and practice

Forced Migration Review’s latest publication – a 32-page supplement
on ‘Education and conflict: research, policy and practice’ – is now online.
http://www.fmreview.org/FMRpdfs/EducationSupplement/contents.pdf

In April 2006 UNICEF and Oxford University’s Department of Educational Studies
co-convened a conference on ‘Education and Conflict: Research, Policy and
Practice’. FMR’s supplement presents summaries of key presentations to the
conference and additional contributions, in particular from the field.
Contributors include representatives from UN agencies, the World Bank,
bilateral organisations, donors, NGOs and academia.

The supplement complements FMR23 ‘Education in emergencies: learning for a
peaceable future’ http://www.fmreview.org/FMRpdfs/FMR22/FMR22full.pdf

The supplement is available as a single 2.2MB file
http://www.fmreview.org/FMRpdfs/EducationSupplement/full.pdf or by individual
article http://www.fmreview.org/FMRpdfs/EducationSupplement/contents.pdf

Hard copies will be mailed to all FMR readers in late August. If you do not
usually receive FMR but would like to receive a hard copy of this supplement,
