Foldback Sound Festival 2006

“People are finding their machine code for escape, diversion, switching over
to the other thing- away from life….. toward a change in the program, and
therefore their experience of time.”

Foldback will bring together a cross section of sound practitioners to an
event that will allow them to meet, compare notes and present a diverse
range of works. The event will provide a platform for education, new
collaborations and be a celebration of many forms of sound based creativity.

Foldback is a three day sound festival and exhibition to be held between
Reception Space and Meals & SUVs this August. The event will include themed
daylong seminars and a gallery show, all exploring the work of international
Sound Practitioners
