medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture

Dear Brenda,

André-Yves is right, Chanson d'Antioche mentions Alain de Nantes once
(L:1175) and the Breton troops several times. The poem does not, however,
refer to any misbehaviour, if I remember correctly.

Albert of Aix similarly mentions "domnus Alens cognomine Fergans", RHC Occ.
IV, p. 316.

Best regards,
Sini Kangas
