Dear Librarian

Books: their future in libraries

On the evening of Tuesday 13th June, Dr David Lammy, Minister for the Arts, will be coming to address the Royal Society of Literature on the Government's policy for literature, and particularly for public libraries. He will talk for about a quarter of an hour, and has then kindly agreed to take questions. In taking questions, he will be joined by the author Helen Dunmore, and by John Dolan, head of library policy at the MLA (Museums, Libraries and Archives Council).

The event will begin at 7pm, and will take place in the Kenneth Clark Lecture Theatre, Courtauld Institute, Somerset House.  If you have time to email your RSVP as the lecture hall has limited seats that would be great.
